October 9, 2014 (Campo)--It’s “All aboard” the Pumpkin Express at the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum in Campo. The 10th annual Halloween seasonal rides take place Saturday and Sunday from October 11 through October 26, with trains departing three times daily.
Ride the rails to the Great Pumpkin Patch, which is indoors and open regardless of the weather. Children and their parents will enjoy the one-hour train ride and then tour the Haunted Train, where each child gets to pick out his or her own pumpkin and decorate it inside a display building.
